Friendship Charter

"With God's help we reach for the stars!"

We will make our school a very friendly place if we remember these points:

  • No matter how different we may look on the outside inside we are all special people.
  • We should treat each other as we would want others to treat us - with kindness as Jesus taught us.
  • We should play together, work hard together and share sensibly and kindly.
  • We should respect other people’s belongings and not take things that don’t belong to us.
  • We should only say nice things.
  • If someone is on their own, we should ask them to join in with our game.
  • We will always help our friends to make wise choices.
  • We should always be polite and remember to say excuse me, thank you, please and hold doors open for others.
  • If anyone is new, we should say hello and help them to settle into our school.
  • If we see anyone being unkind we should tell an adult.
  • We should remember to use our school values of Respect, Love, Endeavour and Pride in all we do.

All children are reminded of the Friendship Charter at the start of each school year and are given the opportunity to sign a copy, agreeing to follow it for the duration of the school year.

Proverbs 17:17 - A friend loves at all times.
